Christmas is always a special time at Stanley Grange but in 2020 our traditional family get togethers had to be cancelled and we missed each other so much. This year, under strict Covid restrictions we were delighted to meet once more and to enjoy a party buffet in bubbled groups, supported by funding from the ASDA foundation.
The party was organised by family members with funding from the Stanley Grange Family Forum towards gifts from Santa who made doorstep deliveries to all our residents.
As part of our National Lottery programme of activities, a craft area was led by Christina Pearson who made candy cane reindeers and traditional orange pomanders.
Kevin Phoenix from Future Directions provided musical entertainment with additional singing from family member and SGCA friend and supporter, Ron Bilsborough.
