our new team!

We are delighted to give a warm welcome to two new members of the team in the SGCA Office, Andrea Morley and Liam Pemberton who both started work with us on 1 April. Here they are pictured in our new allotment area at the big reveal finale with Channel 4.

Andrea Morley is the new Operations and Projects Manager, working on behalf of the Trustees of Stanley Grange Community Association. Her role includes business development, partnerships, fundraising and marketing. Andrea has previously worked as Business Development and Project Manager for Culture Warrington and Live Wire CIC. She has also been a facilities manager for Extra Care Charitable Trust. She takes over from Harriet Roberts who is leaving at the end of May for a new vision and strategy role with the Diocese of Chester.

If you need to contact Andrea please email manager@stanleygrange.org.uk

Liam Pemberton is the new Activities Coordinator, funded by The National Lottery Communities Fund, managed by Andrea with links to Lorraine Chapman as Operational Network Manager and Business Development for Future Directions CIC.

Liam is already a familiar face at Stanley Grange as he has previously worked in a role supporting people who live here and also delivered weekly sessions as a freelance music activities practitioner. A professional drummer, Liam also led our BBC Children in Need Drumathon in November 2021. He will continue to develop a diverse programme of activities, focussing on partnerships and engagement and reestablishing links with the wider community.

Liam takes on this role from Kevin Phoenix who is now working across the whole Future Directions network delivering music activities and events. We will be still seeing (and hearing) Kevin, weekly at Stanley Grange.

If you need to contact Liam please email activities@stanleygrange.org.uk
