Bailey thomas charitable fund

A few weeks ago, we were thrilled to receive good news of another successful funding application. The Baily Thomas Charitable Fund is a grant making registered charity which was established primarily to aid the research into learning disability and to aid the care and relief of those affected by learning disability by making grants to voluntary organisations working in this field. The history of this fund goes right back to 1916 and the birth of Frank Bruce Bailey Thomas who was born with learning disabilities and became the heir of the Mansfield Brewery.

Thanks to SGCA Trustee, David Bell for his research and hard work in helping to secure the success of this application. The grant of £20k will go towards the building improvements at Pendle and Weavers. Well done and thank you to everyone involved.
