We are delighted to announce the support of the EG Foundation towards a £403,000 campaign to upgrade two properties at Stanley Grange. Chair, David Wilks and Fundraiser, John Harris recently met with Mohamed Valli, Foundations and CSR Manager to discuss how the foundation would help support the Stanley Grange renovation.
Operations and Project Manager, Harriet Roberts explained:
‘We are grateful for the grant of £4,000 to support Phase 8 of our project to provide quality accommodation for Stanley Grange residents which involves the renovation of two cottages, Pendle and Weavers. We will be increasing the bedroom sizes and installing ensuite bath and shower rooms. We also need to update the windows and fire escape doors as well as upgrading heating and electrical systems. The aim is to create a small kitchen facility in each dwelling space and to retain the communal dining and kitchen areas.’
