While the majority of fundraising is focused on improving facilities on site, the Stanley Grange Community Association also raises general funds to invest in projects that enhance the experiences of residents living at Stanley Grange.
In 2019 we secured an initial grant from The Baily Thomas Foundation to fund a full-time Activities Coordinator, and in Spring 2021 we were delighted to learn that a funding application to The National Lottery was approved, securing this role for the next 5 years.
In Spring 2021 a new minibus also arrived at Stanley Grange, thanks to generous support from BASS and The National Lottery. The minibus will support our busy off-site activities programme with weekly hiking trips, days out and group activities all relying heavily on transport.
